Process to Create Your Unique Wedding Song List
Below, I’ve shared the process to building out your wedding song list.
Overall Process:
Once your date is secured and everything is squared away, we will:

Meet to select the 12-15 songs for your wedding ceremony moments and other events as desired

Communicate via email (I send my clients recordings so they can hear the music), eventually finalizing all the arrangements for your special day

Meet with your wedding planner or wedding coordinator to finalize timing and cues
This is an Iterative Process
Clients are often surprised to learn that event and wedding song selection is an iterative process that they lead. While I do bring years of experience, professionalism (and a few opinions, ahem), at the end of the day, my number one priority is your joy and excitement.
I know that my job isn’t done until a client is GUSHING about how excited they are for the songs to be played at their wedding.
I Love Picky People (Really)
The alternative heading for this section was, “I love bridezillas!”
People getting married can sometimes be worried about coming across as “too high maintenance,” but I love that vibe. My favorite clients are kind and FULL of thoughts and opinions. I adore clear communicators!
As someone with high standards myself, I so appreciate it when clients know what they want. Or, when they share that they don’t know exactly what they want, they communicate that so I can provide options and suggestions.
As part of the process, I adore when a client shares that a sample didn't sound exactly like what they thought it would, because I know that I can go back to the drawing board, create edits and share new drafts until it is PERFECT. I want you to visualize that “wedding moment” and get the chick flick walk down the aisle you deserve.
